Iāve been teaching for over 14 years (I canāt believe how fast that time has gone!), Iām a Specialist Leader in Education and have been Head of English in an inner-city secondary school for over 10 years now.
My experience means that I know how equally tough and rewarding this job can be; I know just how hard teachers work and how much passion, time, energy and soul we invest into making a positive contribution.
Trying to contend with the day to day in school, the marking and planning load, as well as trying to keep one eye on our professional development, well-being and current topics and issues can feel overwhelming to say the least!
